Cupcakes ‘challenge’ two architects at midlife, sweep nation

The new arrival of Cupcake Station in Birmingham, Mich. gives residents there small plots of baked-goods of which they can be the sole proprietors.
“There’s just something neat about having your own little cake,” says Holleman, 50, of Northville. “You don’t have to share it with anybody. It’s all yours. There’s something delightful about that.”
